Had a repeat client bring in his wifes metallic orange Ford Taurus after she saw how his Corvette turned out. I have to say this color was down right amazing in the sun. Overall it wasn't too bad and I was able to get it back in shape.

Wash/Prep

Hyperwash, Nanoskin fine towel, IGL Iron

Wheels/Tires

Mckees foaming wheel cleaner gel, LATA, Hydro Blue, Hyper Dressing on the liners and Mckees gloss tire gel on tires

Engine Bay

LATA, Hyper dressing

Correction/Finishing polish- I cut with 3D One using my Rupes 21 Mark ll with Megs microfiber cutting pad. I left the residue on the surface and had my BOSS 21mm with a Rupes yellow pad setup and added a drop of 3D ONE and finish polished with that then wiped off and proceeded on. My Adams swirl killer mini was also used in this manner. This was able to knock it out very efficiently.

LSP- IGL Poly 1 year coating

Interior- Mckees 70/30 leather shampoo, Mckees total interior cleaner, Mckees carpet and upholstery cleaner, IGL dash interior protectant

I love how nice and bright the wheels turned out now that they’re clean. The pillars came out perfect. Everything looks brand new. Great turnaround.[emoji106][emoji2534]

Great job as usual. Gotta be a good feeling to get additional work from a recent customer, instant gratification.

Thanks bud. I agree. The wheels really make it stand out. Overall just a slick looking daily driver

Thanks bud. Absolutely. I'm very fortunate that the majority of my clients have multiple vehicles and generally once I do one I get to do the rest lol. Job security.

Justin, beautiful work as always.

I really like that tip about using 2 separate machines and leaving the residue from 3D one on the paint, I’m gonna give that a go, thanks.

Finally a couple of weeks back we got the first shipment of ONE into New Zealand & I remember reading this post from Justin & I put this technique to work first up. I had a different polisher/pad set up but the same technique was used.

Pretty impressive results here on this Taurus & I had great results too. Justin - I'm sure you are probably a fair bit cooler at this time of the year than me - I've had around 21-24 degrees celsius & 80% humidity when using ONE, is it fairly 'wet' or 'oily' to wipe off? Not hard work but a little 'wetter' or 'oilier' than most compounds.

Nice work as usual on this Ford Taurus Justin, fun colour too. Thanks for sharing buddy. :props:

great work here. Im a huge Ford fan but hate the taurus and wished it could have been better. It reminds me of the 1950s chrome grilles on the outside but the inside was poorly designed. Imo if they have updated it, it would have been a great selling car

Wow, nice job Justin!

Ironically, I just did a drive cycle on an almost identical car today at my work. (Ford dealer). It certainly didn't look anywhere near as good as yours though. Lol

In the side by side early shot, it doesn't look like you got out everything...........

Are talking about the first picture after the wheels? There was no polishing performed in that picture.

Thanks buddy. Yeah its a smidge one the wetter side to wipe but still wipes clean. I do find myself changing towels for wipe off more frequently but the time saved and results have been worth it.

Stunning work Justin!

Thanks.

I honestly like them a lot. Have a couple other clients who own SHO versions and really like them.
