I'm confused here. If I go thru all the effort of cleaning and clay bar my car I want the effect to last long.

So I do swirl remover and polish and should I put a glaze. Or is a glaze enough or skip the glaze

Or just glaze and collinite is enough no polish...

Then do I over it with a wax or sealant or both??
I see people putting a sealant like optiseal then collinite 845/915 on top of a sealnt or vice versa .... Isn't the collinite enough ...

How the opti seal give it that much gloss ??

I presume you are doing this by hand. What condition is the paint in now?

You don't sound very enthused, so I would take the easiest route, keeping in mind that nothing lasts forever, and as Barry Meguiar used to say "frequent car care is easy car care". You don't need a glaze. If you're unhappy with the swirls, a wax like either of the Collinites will give you some slight filling. Swirls come back eventually (meaning you put more in), so unless you're really unhappy with them, I'd skip the swirl remover.

If the car isn't shiny, claying may help a little with that. If it's still not shiny enough, you're going to need to use a paint cleaner, swirl remover, polish, etc.

After you are happy with how it looks, it will be time to protect it. Opti-Seal is very easy--it won't last as long as Collinite, but does that really matter when you can reapply it so easily? If it matters then use the Collinite.

That probably just confused you more, so I apologize in advance.

Life is busy . I don't wanna spend the whole day on the car . So going for the quickest best route !?!?

How much longer does collinite last then optiseal .

Also doesnt dirt stick less to collinite ?

I would go with 3D SPEED with your GG6 and orange pad. Then top with something like 3D POXY or Collinite like you mentioned. Easy Peasy!!

Never heard of that product . How long does it last compare to collinite.

Collinite 845 or 915? Is collinite hard to apply

Wash, clay, Collinite 845, done. Or skip the clay.

3D HD Speed kind of set the new standard for an all-in-one product to quickly cut, polish and protect. You wanted fast.....this is fast, hence the name. Then you top with Collinite. It's good by itself, the Collinite will be your long lasting sacrificial layer. Or, like I mentioned, HD Poxy to top with because HD Speed contains Poxy, which is a durable Montan wax.

Not sure what's so funny.

3D is based out of California
Optimum is based out of Tennessee
Collinite is based out of New York

Guess you don't need the help???!!

Was just joking around . When I googled the 3d product was supposed they actually have a Canadian division that's all .

If I read the forum correctly I ll use the 3d products in the summer since it looks deeper and wetter. And the collinite 915 in the winter months. Plus my car is a darker color q
Or suffer applying the 476??

Or 3D Speed topped with SONAX PNS aka Polymer Net Shield

SONAX Polymer Net Shield - Closest thing to a coating without being a coating (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/2018-new-car-detailing-how-to-article-by-mike-phillips/120275-sonax-polymer-net-shield-closest-thing-coating-without-being-coating.html)

:)Now I'm even more confused lol

Use the sonax pns all year round ?
How does it hold up in winter/salt/snow compare to the others we spoke about.
