hello everyone!

im planning on putting a coating on my mustang tomorrow

it has light swirl marks thinking of doing a one step polish but wondering which should i use for the polish before the IPA and coating

the Americana IAT3000 or the 3D 505 AAT CORECTION GLAZE

The good old test spot will be your answer.

I would advise against using any cleaner wax, (like 505) type product before coating.

Maybe check out 3D One, or ACA 520 from their line.

same here.. that was suggested to me by a detail shop but then i notice the glaze part aka fillers then i went to another shop and they suggested americana cuz after the ipa the swirl marks gonna show up again after the oil/ fillers r taken off if i recall

Sure!

Coatings often require bare paint, or a designated, specialized primer polish before application.

Products like 505 utilize some type of wax and/or sealant for protection. These products create more work with removal than typical polishing oils. Using a cleaner wax works against efficient work flow, when applying a coating.

CarPro Essence, or Geyon Primer are exceptions to their product line.
