Ive been using m105 for a while now. Ive used it on some GM hard paint, Ford paint, Audi,Jeep I think and others. It has the cut but dries out too much and dusts alot. Is there anything I could swap it with that works just as well?

Try Griot's Fast Correcting Cream.

You will not be disappointed. :xyxthumbs:

Griot’s fast correction cream, just works! No dust, no water spray and you can get an LSP ready finish.

You are going to get a lot of recommendations.

Meguiar’s just released their new M110 compound. This may be a good alternative if you want to stay with a SMAT compound.

Sonax Cut Max is great. Diminishing abrasive unlike M105 but leaves a better finish and no dusting.

Meguiar’s D300 with their microfiber cutting pad is another good one.

Get it while you can. Meguiar’s has mentioned that they are going to phase it out now that they have their new M110.

I'd highly recommend Ultimate Compound. It is 1 under M105 on the aggressive scale. I had the same problem with M105... it just dusts _really_ bad. I've never had this problem with UC.

I'd say that you might need to work UC a little longer than M105 but, as mentioned above, this is fine as it does not dust.

I switched from M105 to Menzerna FG400 and never looked back.

I'm really, really digging 3D One.

The lubricant is butter smooth and feels great under the buffer. Minimal product needed. Excellent cutting, even with a foam pad (green Buff and Shine for me). Finishes very nice for the cut it delivers. Little to no dust.

One also makes a great finishing polish simply by changing the pad. I like the blue Buff and Shine.

Meguiars Ultimate Compound, M100, and Menzerna FG400 have been my go-to compounds for the past few years.

The fact that I am stunned by CarPro ClearCut for a compound (and though not talking specifically about polishes) Sonax Perfect Finish means that I MUST add Sonax Cutmax to the list.

There was a thread I posted a while back asking if Sonax is a good brand. I’m FULLY convinced that they are worth every penny since using Perfect Finish and their glass cleaner.

I can’t imagine what Cutmax is capable of doing...
