I was having trouble with Boss Perfecting Cream and used it as an excuse to try a new product. I got some Hyper Polish and tried it on some spots on my hood that I was fighting. It came out great. White pad with about 4 passes. It finished perfectly to my eyes. I'm a believer.

Hahaha. No I didn't. Haven't been on much, but wanted to share the joy. I guess this stuff really is good.

Sorry Mark. I did not mean to dislike this post. My fat fingers has an issue.

I’ve been a huge fan of Hyper polish for years. Wish the hyper compound would make me feel the same but it’s a bit of an underwhelming product for me.

What do you think of the orange Intensive Polish that was briefly called the compound? I have a bottle but I haven't used it yet.

Kinda reminds me of Menzerna power finish but way more user friendly.

I should have stated that Hyper compound is a nice product, I just feel it is more of a medium polish rather than a true compound and that is the disappointing part.

Other than hyper polish, the other two finish terrible, IMO

So I would venture to guess hyper polish is a "finishing" polish per say? I've been wanting to try it but not sure where to put it in my lineup.

Exact same experience here. HyperPolish was actually the first polish I ever tried. Still trying to figure out why I bought the 20+ others afterwards. HyperCompound...eh

Depends on the pad, it can be used as a heavy cut polish with a cutting pad all the way down to a fine finishing polish on a finishing pad. A white LC polishing pad used with it works great, it will finish close to a finishing polish but have pretty good cut at the same time.

I used the LC white pad, and it cleared up some pretty significant swirls / scratches. And it left basically no marring.

I used a wet waterless wash towel to remove, and it came off great.

I want to try it with a less aggressive pad next time and see if I can tell a difference in finish. I seriously doubt I'll be able to.

Optimum does make a finishing polish, Optimum Finish. It's creme only.
