I am looking at getting a new car soap and need some advise. I am in the middle of hunting season and get pretty dirty on the weekends. It’s either muddy or coated in dust from back roads. I can’t stand it so I have to wash it off every week I hunt ( almost every week). I try to use my foam cannon
but sometimes just lazy and tired so I use a bucket method. It is an sUv and agin sometimes I’m worn out so anything to help with a spotless rinse would be great. I will always use a towel but anything to help would be nice, although more of a want, than a need.

So whatever I get has to be able to be used weekly. I am going to coat after washes with Optimum Car Wax since it’s spray on and easy to do so frequently right now. I would prefer if I can only wax maybe every 2-3 washes? I’m not sure if that reasonable but needless to say, I’d like to wax as less frequently as possible.

on that note.. would it be better to get a wash n wax and not use the Optimum Car Wax right now since will be washing more frequently? If so, let’s go that route and find some combo wash n wax.

Meguiar's Hyper Wash is the bomb. Leaves nothing behind, rinses easily, and cleans exceptionally.

I have both of those soaps and both are great.l have been a long time fan of hyperwash but d113 is super slick im really favoring it right now. They both work great in foam cannons since you said you use one. I wouldn't rely on the 113 as a lsp so i would use your ocw with either of these

Is the Megs Citrus Blast only sold in gallon sizes? I would rather try it in a smaller size before commuting.

I've come to enjoy and appreciate DG 902; get it by the gallon and transfer to a dish washing bottle for squirting into my bucket.

I’ve never witnessed a conventional style car wash & wax shampoo that could produce actual beading or any sort of indication of wax protection after using it on its own. For that simple reason it’s my opinion that they’re all pretty much junk.

For your situation I’d recommend HD Pink. This is real good car shampoo because it produces great suds in both a bucket and a foam cannon. It rinses easily, wont interfere with your lsp because it doesn’t claim to lay down anything of its own, and to top it off it seems to have a bit more cleaning power than some other soaps. Plus you can buy it in a 16oz. bottle for super cheap.

I like the 902 as well.

Oh yea I forgot about the 3D Pink. I think I may try that. It’s cheap and is a small bottle that I can try out before committing to another gallon jug.
