I just purchased a 2019 Acura MDX Aspec package, white exterior and Ebony interior.

I was looking for suggestions on products with the following in mind.

The car is in sunny Tampa FL and will not be garaged

Ideally I would like to use something that does not require a lot of weekly work, I just don't have the time nor will my body cooperate with significant weekly work on it.

Previously I used Klasse AIO/SG, not sure if this is the right product for a white car, but my preference would be a good sealer and perhaps a wax I could use on top of this every few weeks (4-6) or longer if able.

I will plan on claying the during this initial prep, any specific clay suggestions?

I am also looking for something to seal or protect the wheels as well.

What would you suggest for interior as well?

Again my goal is something that might take a little more time on the first use/prep, but require less weekly or monthly maintenance.

Also what products would you suggest for normal wash, maintenance?

Thank you

There’s a million products out there but it comes down to personal preference and time constraint.
1.Coating
Pros-Best in class longevity.1-2 years
-Easier to clean after long periods of time.
- “Self cleaning ability”
- adds extra layer of gloss
- Slick to the touch
Cons- Long prep time.
-Car normally can’t touch water/rain for at least 24 hours.
-Can be more expensive to maintain. Have to use car soap with out wax additives/gloss enhancers to benefit from the coatings self cleaning abilities.
-Some are prone to water spotting.
2. Sealants
Pros- Generally cheaper than Coatings.
-Not as much prep time required.
-easier application
-Faster application.
Cons- decreased durability 4-8 months

No garage and in Florida (rains often with hot sunshine after) I think I would not use a coating. Very likely to get water spots. Get a nice sealant and do it twice a year. Powerlock+ is a favorite of many people. I also had great experience with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

More sealants that look great on white: 4 Star UPP, Mckees High Def Sealant (and 360 if you like the AIO approach), FK1000P, Collinite 845.

if u want it to really bling, PA High Gloss as a topper occasionally.

Polish Angel is my favorite.
Viking Coat is great prepped with Esclate Lotion. If you are not polishing don't clay. Do you have a da polisher? I'm in Tampa and I don't garage this, I do it twice a year. Wash it every few months.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181020/dda11bcbc4501d91aec08881d2179764.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181020/9fe859000c385ea52b95f608a521c45e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181020/4d3f02915de58017f84b73cb91336e8f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181020/47ee8a5881b491e2807874d7be566660.jpg

Yup, that pic you posted is prepped with Esclate and sealed with Viking Coat. I'm getting ready to do it with some other PA products after Halloween road trip. Still too hot down here in Tampa. I think today was the first day since May it didn't hit 90+, only 89 plus heat index, maybe 98ish.

Thank you for the suggestions, now to decide on which one. Is polish Angel significantly better than four star? Yes, I do have a polisher, I purchased the Edge 200 kit several years ago, although I probably need some new pads at this point.

What do you suggest for the wheels and leather for protection?

Thanks again

This is my favorite go to leather cleaner / protectant.

SONAX Leather Foam Leather Cleaner & Conditioner, Sonax leather cleaner conditioner, sonax leather care (https://www.autogeek.net/sonax-leather-foam.html)

And if you want to step it this is a great kit and it's on sale. I have these too. I use the first one on my new leather furniture too.

SONAX Premium Class Leather Care Kit (https://www.autogeek.net/sonax-premium-leather-kit.html)

Would probably just go to an ONR with OCW regimen

Clay with the OCW and keep the car clean with big red sponge and ONR with Optimun car wax every other wash or so

Really won’t get easier than that unless you just take it to a car wash

This is what I would do. Won’t take more than an hour tops once you get good at it, OCW is great on wheels too. Will also protect your paint nicely in the brutal Florida sun.
