Needed new rubber. I decided to go with summer high performance Firestone Indyhawk 500’s. Huge difference!

The installers scratched the Bullitt wheels and of course new tires have crud on them.

Wheels and tires got Meg’s D143. Wheels Woolies and Mother’s Tire Brush.

Car washed with Hyperwash/Reset mix.

Wheels: PC with 4” LC CCS Orange pad and 105 and Erasure wipe down. Scratches gone!
Then treated with CarPro DLUX.

Tires got my Favorite BLACKFIRE AIO:

Tired look great, may have to give this a shot when my current product runs out. Assume no sling?

Firehawk Indy's are awesome. I went with the Continental Summer tires. You made a great choice with the Firehawks! Beautiful ride too!

Sadly BF discontinued this product. I’m on a one man mission to have them bring it back.

How bad was the wheel scratch, Paul?

How bad was the wheel scratch, Paul?

On each “coke bottle” as I call them there was a scratch down the center. Probably from the machine they go on.

They were coated with DLUX so that got all messed up, as well as grease. I first sprayed them with some degreaser and wiped with black MF’s. Didn’t want to get hunk on my wheel woolies. Then from there I did everything mentioned above.

It was a about a 5 hr job. The 105 and Orange CCS took out all the scratches and the fresh coat of DLUX looks great.

I was almost thinking of some new wheels, BBS black like the Porsche GTS, but I’m sticking with these.

Nice looking Mustang!

Thanks Scott, I have to get back to detailing, I’ve been so dang busy and I’ve really enjoyed the time away, but weather is getting really sweet here.

I’ve also spent more time on the Ecoboost Mustang forum, than here and doing mods on the EB. She just got a new turbo installed.

Trying to decide what’s next for the EB!
