So I had a client contact me recently and wanted me to detail this car and get it ready for shipment.

It was interesting...

I don’t know what the true guide lines are, but the way it came across to me was that it had to be free from nearly all sorts of animal organic matter, pollen, etc. in other words, this thing cannot introduction any new species of anything into another land.

So here we go.

A good deal of time was spent to scrub off all evidence of road kill and bug splatter. I used a combo of bug & tar remover, APC, and some steam for the more stubborn stuff.

Tree sap was also successfully removed from all the panels including the hood of course. Terminator worked as expected.

Engine bay was hit up with APC and later on dressed with CarPro Perl

The glass cleaned up real nicely using APC first; followed by Sonax glass cleaner using my two-towel method for both chemicals.

The entire interior rid of hair of all type and food particles. You can literally call offsides with these fabulous lines.

I used ONR and a brush to detail between the paint and the glass. After used steam to blast away all the pollen particles.

Nice job.[emoji1417]
Did you happen to stick around long enough to see them load it into the shipping container? Man when they load a vehicle [especially 1 that size] into a container and strap it down it’s a dangerously tight squeeze. Lol. Makes you want to say a prayer in hopes that it makes its trip without any dings happening. Like not even enough room to exit out of the drivers door.

NAH!!

I would cringe to see, not the car, but my work get destroyed with grimy loading-hands all over my work. Lol.

The other thing that’s confirmed is that they will take it through a car wash one last time prior to shipping it. WHAT?

You heard me right!
