Using a da scrub brush and vacuum

I’m not savvy in the electrical world, but is there anyway to use a shop vac and a da at the same time without popping a fuse? Yesterday I was doing a car that had a good amount of sand. I typically use my da with the bristle brush attachment because the vibration and brush bring the sand to the surface. But once I shut it off the sand settles back down. I know before when I’ve done this and tried using my shop vac, the fuse needed to be reset in the house.

You need to find to different plugs that are on separate circuits (that run to two different breakers).

I’m not sure how new houses are wired but usually different rooms, different parts of the house, will be on separate circuits. Hopefully your breaker box is labeled and pick two that will work for you.

How about replacing your 15amp breaker with a 20amp breaker is the system allows it.

As he said if the system allows it. You need to check the guage of the existing wires to see if the circuit will support 20 amps (12 g ). just changing to a 20 amp breaker is a good way to start a fire.

This isn’t for my home, it’s for my customers. I am mobile and use their electricity. Didn’t know if there was something i could purchase to something like an inverter (if something like this exists) so I can run multiple tools to one unit

No there is not and anything you try to do like that would be dangerous. If the customer has garage and outside plugs, find a garage plug that is not GFCI and use one of the outside GFCI plugs. Those are different circuits. We've run across this before and it's one of the reasons I say if you don't travel with your own power you're not set up professionally. I rarely use my own power, but I can and my generator will support a vacuum and a DA or two DAs at once.

I typically use the client's electrical as well. I do carry an inverter that can support one electrical item while the other is plugged into the client's power to avoid the situation you described. I detail out of my sedan so a large generator is not an option.

Just to be clear Sharp, you're using a 12V to AC inverter from your car's electrical system. Correct?

Most washing machine outlets on modern homes should be wired as a dedicated 20 amp circuit.
