in your opinion, on a black car that has been well polished, is there any worthwhile benefit to applying a product like Poorboys Black Hole (or similar "glaze" product) prior to laying down a high quality carnuba based wax?
I understand that generally there are 2 main reasons to apply glaze. One is to hide minor swirls/scratches, the other is to enhance gloss. Well, if the car is already well polished, that would (for the most part) eliminate one of those 2 reasons. So, would you say that the gloss enhancing qualities of Poorboys Black Hole Glaze are significant enough to warrant the additional work? Or would you think that if you are going to be applying a high quality carnuba wax, its kind of a moot point?
Is there another Glaze product where the gloss enhancing qualities are really worth it, even though you will be topping with Carnuba wax?
On any other color, I think its probably not worth it. But again this is black.
Thoughts, experiences?
