Very informative site, and tho' I've painted, color sanded and buffed lacquer in the past, never really detailed, so need some expert advice. Bought a 2004 Jaguar, nice gloss finish, but on closer look,
there are light scratches on the hood and deck lid, along with some raised, old touch up paint spots. Also an obviously repainted front fender with some orange peel. From what I've gathered, plan on wash, Iron x, lite sand, clay, compound (DA), polish (Klasse aoi), then sealant (Ultimate fast liquid). wash, Iron x, lite sand, clay, compound (DA), polish (Klasse aoi), then sealant (Ultimate Fast Liquid). Sure I must be going wrong somewhere.

Questions:
I have Meguiars #02 & polishing compound, which would be best, or something else altogether?
On lite orange peel, sanding grit sequence?
Side panels are in good shape, should I just clay, then polish?
Thanks for any replies!
