GYEON Q2M Bathe + Plus - 400 ml (https://www.autogeek.net/gyeon-bathe-plus.html)

CarPro Reset Intensive Car Shampoo (https://www.autogeek.net/carpro-reset.html)

Dr. Beasley?s Ceramic Body Wash (https://www.autogeek.net/dr-beasleys-ceramic-body-wash.html)

Or any I missed. Used to maintain.

CarPro Reset us really, really nice. It cleans well and doesn't leave behind anything to interfere with one's LSP. The McKee's product is also great, but the smell eventually got to me and I don't look forward to using it much anymore.

If I had to choose between the two I'd pick CarPro Reset just because its smell is much more subtle and the soap's consistency is thinner. These are personal preferences and don't take into account how well each product works - they both perform very well and they're both useful. The artificial smell of the McKee's shampoo was just too much for me.

Until this thread-starter...I would’ve never
thought that you’d ever/even consider using
any type of “two-fer” car-wash shampoo.

{I’ll take this opportunity to
affirm that I still don’t/won’t.}

Well, to be honest I was just curious to any benefit of using said soap. Currently I am happy using Car Brite select soap.

Now I have read good things about HYDROFOAM. But, that is in a different category. A simple way to lay down some protection.

I still get confused. I thought Reset is NOT a two-fer. Thought it leaves nothing behind. I have a similar thread out there now wondering the same about PBL Coating Shampoo.

CarPro-Reset is my go-to wash on my cars and any coated vehicle. Although, as noted, it isn't a product that leaves behind anything.

How about hyperwash? Does it leave anything behind?

Hyperwash does not leave any gloss behind, but Im not sure it rinses as “clean” as Reset, as it may have some residues/surfactants left behind... which if so, would only mean anything to people with coatings since the pores can clog, changing behavior of the coating.

I’m not an expert with coatings, Reset or Hyperwash, but the above is my belief based on many hours on this forum.

Meguiar’s Hyper-Wash is a biodegradable formula. It safely lifts dirt and grime from your vehicle without affecting the washed surface or the environment.

It is my understanding it leaves nothing behind. I have used several gallons of this soap. Till today it is one of the best preforming soaps. And equally good in the foam gun.

I wholeheartedly agree. It is fantastic, very reasonably priced, and rinses clean

Just wanted to bump this thread since the new BF Pro Coating wash is out. Maybe someone can call this new one their favorite in the near future??
