If you had to choose and use one of these the Torq 22D or the Flex xc3401 vrg, Which one would you choose to use? I just detail for my self, and family and friends. So I really just want one machine. So I'm trying to pick one out of those two and send the other back, they are still in the boxes.

3401 is more versatile, but the 22D will provide a more enjoyable polishing experience. They both can correct paint efficiently.

You need to ask yourself if you want a long throw free spinning dual action (22d) or a forced rotation dual action (3401). Two different machine styles and actions.

Yeah, kind of an apples to oranges question.

I'd want an 8mm random orbital so I can switch plates.

I'm not sure the Flex is your first polisher. I'm still wondering, based on the sheer volume of questions, if you have ANY experience at all.

I had a torqx, but I mostly used it for spreading wax and glazes , seal, . I'm thinking towards the flex3401.lkke states above more versatile.

If I had to chose ONE polisher, although I like using a long throw way more, I'd still go with the 3401 because it can cover more tasks because of the forced rotation.

Are you referring to the 8mm Torq? The 21mm is a whole different ballgame.
