Soo, this one was brought to me to just be coated. Then he started telling me how the cab had a lot of orange peel and he didn’t like it. So, I started with a good wash and decontamination. Once that was done, I clayed the entire truck. The engine bay was detailed as well. Next was a 10 hour process. Lol. I started with a clay mitt to level the paint. Then I migrated to Carpro’s denim pad to try to cut down the peel. That didn’t work well, so I did it the old fashioned way of wet sanding. Once that was done, I went back over it with Meguiars d300 and the microfiber pad. Next was to move to a foam pad and M105. After the M105 came the m205. Next was to larger on the coating. I used the McKees paint coating to last at least 2-3 years. The wheels were polished and coated as well. Truck turned out slick!!!!

Great work on the wet sand, I'd love to learn how to do that. The black is super smooth now.

I got excited when I saw the snail under the hood. I bet that thing rips.

Wet sanding scares the crap out of me and you guys make it look easy and routine. The paint and coating on that black beauty are superb.
