I'm hoping someone out there can help me.
I recently purchased a Nissan Kicks with Prima-tex seats. I realize prima-tex is not a leather (little info out there about them) but have no idea how to take care of them.
Use APC's and protectants? Leather cleaners and protectants?
Help!

I wasn't able to find a lot of information on Prima-Tex either but I do know that it is a synthetic material that is a lot like vinyl but feels like leather. It is also a more durable material that will not dry out and crack like vinyl. Most leather cleaners and protectants are good for vinyl as well so I would imagine they would also work on Prima-Tex. I use Ultima interior shampoo gel and 303 protectant on my vinyl and leather with good results. That should also work well with Prima-Tex.
Prima Tex appears to be an Italian textile company and they also have a leather substitute fabric for motorcycle suits. It is supposed to have the safety properties of leather but it is a breathable material.

A lot of the automakers have different names for what all boils down to some form of vinyl.

Like UncleDavy mentioned, you should be fine with a good, quality interior protectant. If the surfaces get really dirty, or you simply want to give them a good cleaning on a periodic basis, a diluted APC like you find here (not Simply Green or others of that type) should clean things up nicely.
