So today I stripped my Infiniti of the CanCoat that's been doing great. Polished with the Rupes Mille & White Pads using Gyeon's PRIMER product. Effortless, flawless results that I'm very pleased with. Adding PURE as my coating was pretty simple too. To those that have used the new Cquartz UK 3.0 it goes on in a very similar fashion. Perhaps just a wee-bit thicker but removal was on-par with others in its class.

Waiting on it to cure for a couple more hours and then I will head back out to apply a layer of SKIN to it. Should go quick as skin flashes incredibly fast and is slick and effortless to remove. Pics coming soon!

I’ve also enjoyed using Gyeon Primer. Topped it with Syncro on one vehicle and a few different waxes on another. Looking forward to your thoughts on Skin on top of Pure...

How does the looks of Pure compare to CQ V3.

Skin on top of Pure is just like Syncro.......ridiculously slick and flashes very quick. It didn't seem to wipe of quite as completely as with Mohs though. I let it cure 4hrs but there were a number of areas when I pulled the car out this morning that were left with a light haze / streak. Not a high-spot mind you just that skin didn't wipe off quite perfectly. I simply wiped the car down with a clean MF Rag dampened with distilled water and followed up with a light buff with a CarPro Suede rag. Perfect after that! Pics forthcoming.

Hard to tell if it's the coating(s)/Layers since it's both Pure and Skin acting together or if it's that I polished it and I'm just seeing a bit more clarity because of it, but the metallic flake is just JUMPING out in the sun today. I love the look as on cloudy days or in the shade the car looks black but once it's in some light it comes alive.

Hood reflects a lot of blue since we have puffy clouds and blue sky mixed today.

As a point of reference, taken on not so quite as bright of a day back in March where she looks black/dark.

Did you leave any areas of just Pure untopped? Would be interesting to see how durable it is on it's own.

I think you are seeing the gloss from the SiO2 in the primer polish and the coatings as a combo. It would have been interesting to see it topped with CanCoat as it has more pop to it that Skin.
