I was defeated today. I quoted a job thinking it was going to take me 4.5 hours. It turned into 6 hours.

:: Sad Face ::

Anyway, hope it turned out ok.

Is it perfect? No. And also, once I passed the 4 and a half hour mark, I new I needed to still finish strong.

Wow, Dan.

That thing was NASTY!!! How do people let their cars get to that level of filth??

Anyway, it looks 1000% better now, man.

Great Job!
Considering how dirty the interior was what did the outside look like?

A service truck maybe, but your own personal vehicle!!!

That's just repulsive, imagine what their home looks like. People are gross I wouldn't even want to sit in there. Nicely done looks much better.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

A service truck maybe, but your own personal vehicle!!!When you spend 90 hrs a week in it, may as well be your home. Mine was always clean and smelled good...easier to sleep lol

The condition of that interior was appalling. You worked wonders and it looks like a new vehicle. What were your tools, chemicals and techniques?

Was it mostly surface dirt or was it deep in there

I felt like the whole beach was in there. Also was SUPER embedded dog hair. I used a combo of the speedy stone and my nitrile gloves fingers to wiggle out about 93-94% of the hair.

I spend my first hour doing nothing but vacuuming.

Also, there were a bunch of melted candy all over the place. Again, the power of steam helped.

The cup holders had signs of nicotine and the door handles. Again steam helped here.

I used three pile types for the glass, including a Magic Eraser.

I kept it simple (SURPRISINGLY)

• steam cleaner of which I am prohibited from mentioning here

• speedy stone

Meguiar’s D101 all purpose cleaner

• of course a shop vac

• about microfiber towels

• CarPro Perl

• Porter Cable with a brush attachment

—Lately I have been using the blower option of my Vac to blow out debris from underneath the seats and from between the seats and the center console; I do all this before an intensive vacuuming.

—I use the Porter Cable with the brush attachment dry first to dislodge as much beach sand as possible from the mats and carpet. Also I noticed the last few times this helps yank the Pet hair out of carpet fibers (depending on the type of carpet material. And of course I used this tool to shampoo the carpets and mats also.
