Hey all. As an apartment dweller without a garage, basement, or attic, I need to find a creative way to store my stuff. Ideally, I like to keep my products organized by type or intended usage. I am also after a portable system so I can grab my go-to gear should I need to perform some location work, i.e., my friend's Mustang needs detailing.

I have a buttload of products, stacks of microfibers and applicators, two DA's, and the usual accoutrement of brushes and other hand tools.

Before I run to the local Lowe's or Costco to pick up some big plastic bins, I am curious to see the solutions some of you artists have concocted and what works for you.

Thanks!

i would pick up a detailers bag, not only does it fit the polishers comfortably but many other products (microfibers, bottles, pads, etc.) as well. i have one of these and love it...

I use a Stanley Fat Max and a Ridgid stackable tool box I use for my polishers. They work pretty good. I couldn’t get a picture to upload for some reason.

This bag is a little pricey, but sounds really durable and has lots of room.

25% off makes it a little more appealing.

That looks great, with the Nano on top.

I, too, was going to go with the Ridgid. I have only one box so far, but will get more down the line. After playing around with the different boxes at the local Home Depot, I didn't care for most of them as they felt kind of flimsy. *Some* DeWalts felt good, but way too much. Ridgid was a good comprimise

The Nano kit fits pretty good with a little trimming. I keep the Duetto & Mini in the middle box and the 21 & Mille in the bottom. Plus I have a basket attachment to hold pads. It’s a clean setup for around the shop or mobile.
I’m guessing we looked at the same DeWalt. It was nice. But it’s 3x of the Ridgid setup. If I did nothing but mobile I would definitely go with the DeWalt. But the Ridgid is perfect for my needs.

I own my own house, full basement, have a 12x20 shed in the back, but I still use detailers bags.

I have one for product, one for towels/pads, and one for my PC/GG6 (with the accessories + a few favorite products). All stored in my spare room.

Easy to grab them and bring out to the truck, and they are always in a temperature controlled environment.

I purchased some plastic lockers/cabinets from Lowes. It has shelves and an actual locker in it. I keep my MF towels and polishers plus master blaster in one cabinet and my soaps, waxes coatings, wheel cleaners etc.... in the other cabinet. Each type of product is on its own shelf. Easy to find my stuff and looks nice. I think I paid about $100 for each. The locker part of it - keep my golf clubs in one and in the other one I hide my kids xmas presents.

I have the Ridgid system, the Griot's detailer bag and McKees bag (large black bag). The Ridgid system is sturdy and makes one look organized. I pack my towels and sponges in the McKees bag. If a quick detail, I may use only the tote portion of the Ridgid system filled with my go to products with my GG6 in the Griot's bag.

That's how I store some of my stuff. I have added on a few more things since then but no newer pictures https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180718/6e70f959941f977306a8b89b78bd2053.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180718/cc2121ca11b0bbe931452be8466bb43a.jpg
