I'm all set to get to work on my car and truck with my new Flex 3401 and finishing products. The problem is that the outside temp is 100 deg f. My garage isn't much cooler. Do I need to wait 'till Fall before approaching this project?
Thanks in advance
Pete

I usually do paint corrections all summer. 106 here right now. You'll find some products work better than others.

I live in AZ... Yesterday was into upper 90's w/ 58 % humidity (high for AZ). The detail job I did before that was about 105.

Here is the thing, you need to time your steps. If it's your own vehicle, see if you can do the wheels, wash, and clay in the evening, put the vehicle in the garage. By next morning, while temps are still low, start your polishing. Hopefully you'll complete that step sometime before the temps exceed 95. Here is where *it depends*, if your LSP is a sealant or wax, feel free to apply. If you're dealing with a coating, you may want to wait until the next morning to apply before the temps creep up. Although, I have to say CQUK 3.0 is pretty good in hot temps.

Hope this helps.

It’s over 100 all day here. I have to do the jobs in the customers garages. Good thing we have ONR and other products to make this possible.

I'm in AZ as well and this time of year I tell my customers that I need their car by 5:30am at the latest. My goal is to be done for the day by 11:00am.

I start early to beat the sun even here in NY. I cannot imagine what you guys in Cali, Texas, and AZ deal with.
