I've got a guy who had Finest put on his vehicle and he says it's not very hydrophobic. He says it does bead some, but doesn't sheet water. I haven't checked it out yet. I just want to verify that Finest is an extremely hydrophobic coating that beads and sheets water very effectively.

Obviously I 'm going to have to clean it, check for bonded contaminants, etc. I just want to be 100% sure of how the product performs when it's in good condition.

From what I have seen on social media it's pretty hydrophobic.

Thanks, I did a set of wheels for a guy and he saw a video of my car sheeting water. He told me someone put finest on his car, along with some PPF that he did a very poor install on. It's only been on there for a few months and he said water does bead a little on it, but there is no sheeting action.

I hate situations when someone does a hack job on a car and the customer wants me to look at it and give my opinion.
