I need another drying towels and I have the waffle weaves and two PFMs. The PFMs are crazy good, love em. I was wondering if they're still the goto and if not, what's better now?

Also where is the cheapest place to get the PFMs?

If there is something better I’d sure love to know.

My thoughts exactly, hence me asking. I do know in this industry companies bite off other technology and release it cheaper and or under a different name.

I have tried many others that are modeled after the PFM and while some work pretty good none are as good as the PFM.

It is the only car detail thing I have bought thus far that I ever thought - "ok this is it. this is perfect"

By them when there is a sale. Autopia has 25% off right now.

I would like to try one of the big Big Blue Drying towel or a Dry Me Crazy or whatever it is called, but the PFM towels are the best I have ever used hands down. Not even close. Totally worth the money, but I do try to wait for a sale LOL.

PFM is better than the big blue. I gave my big blue away after reviewing it for Meghan.

Anyone tried the refreshed PFMs that are a higher GSM?

I used one 16x16 PFM towel today to dry off a customer's Challenger after I rinseless washed it. I bring four 16x16 PFMs with me on mobile jobs and I leave the bigger one (the one that is 38 inches or so) at home 99% of the time. As far as I have experienced there's no way to improve on the Griot's PFM towels because they're wonderful as-is. I've bought many for customers and they love them too.

With all that said, the terry weave snags on badges and threads end up getting pulled out. It isn't a big deal and can be mitigated just by being careful around badges with acute corners.

Gyeon Silk Dryers are comparable if not a touch better I have a pair of each but it’s so freakin close the difference isn’t measurable so I’d say get whatever’s cheaper!!!!

I've never tried the PFM but I like the Rag Company Twistress and the Shineys Bull Shine. They're very similar. Cobra Guzzler is okay.

The Gyeon to works just as good as a PFM, but falls way short of holding the volume of water the PFM does.

@bfielder : if you like the Twistress, you’ll be in love with a PFM after you use it just one time.

I've yet to find anything better, especially when they started selling them in the 16x16 size. My waffle weaves have been relegated to spray wax towels.
