12 cars needed for the 3D Roadshow Class in Canyon Country, California!

All our classes are hands-on classes working on real-world cars.

For each day, I need approximately 6 large neglected cars. Typically, the larger the better.

Classics, muscle cars and streetrods with basecoat/clearcoat paint jobs work best but will consider anything. Don't normally like SUVs or Trucks but if that's what you have let me know. Free super high quality detail for any car we use plus Autogeek has full insurance for peace of mind.

If you have a car you would like a free exterior detail, then please send me a picture of it like you see in the below article to my e-mail.

Behind the scenes when I'm getting cars for classes and projects here I'm talking with people, or messaging or e-mailing them and I always ask them to send me a side shot of the car. Not just any old picture but a shot like this,

1: From the front at an angle so I see the front and the side of the car.

2: Entire car is IN the picture, the front isn't cut-off, the back isn't cut-off the top and tires are not cut-off.

3: Hopefully in good lighting.

Because it's sometimes hard to explain to people what I'm looking for (and it's important to me to have GREAT pictures), I've created this thread so now I can simply e-mail them the link to it so when I tell someone I need a GOOD side shot they will understand what I mean.

This class is coming up soon and I'm still looking for cars.

After teaching almost all the classes at Meguiar's in Irvine, California from 2002 to 2009 I would think there would a LOT of guys in California that now how good these classes are and would love to attend a fresh class in the year 2018?

And also get me some cars....

Would love to attend, but it's just not in the budget.

No problem....

Our 3-day classes here are $1,795.00 plus travel costs, hotels, rental cars, etc.

When we pack everything up and ship it to an out-of-state, offsite location it's a savings bonus to everyone that does have it in their budget.

I tried getting you a Porsche GT3. Figured I could help you by providing a car, and help the owner by saving him money :) Win-win

The guy would rather have me do it, as he knows my work (I've done 2 Porsches for him).

Sorry Mike, but I tried.

Appreciate the effort...

I don't normally use cars like a Porsche GT#3, sure they're incredibly cool but they don't make great training cars for my classes, too small.

I have to take a lot of factors into consideration when choosing training cars, size is just one factor.

While the limo is huge and it brings with it the "oddity factor", it's doesn't have the cool factor.

buffing stuff out like this is just plain hard work.
