Dan...that's fast!!! 5 and a half hours??? Those are really big cars!
Great results.
Couple of questions---were you able to clay before polishing? And which pads did you use with essence?

I majority of my work are crossovers, trucks, and SUVs. I had GREAT practice and continue getting better at ‘Large Luxury’.
Claying. No.
In a recent thread I posted a mini review of how Tar X saved my life from claying. It left the surface passing the ‘Baggie Test’ with flying colors.

The owner of the car gave me ‘You are crazy’ looks when I explained to him that it took me over an hour to wash the wheels, traditional wash, Iron X wash, Tar X, wash—all with pressure washing. This paint WAS GRITTY! I told him like 2000 grit sand paper.
Pads:
I used a combination of pads. For rougher conditions I used LC microfiber pads followed by Rupes yellow. Otherwise, Rupes yellow for most of the panels.

Paul, amazing words. Thanks!

Yeah, like I said, I practice on large vehicles often.
In a matter of three days, I polished out a black Range Rover, a black Ford F-350, and a black Ford Expedition. YIKES!
The Ford Expedition has we wiped for sure.

Awesome work. I love that color. I have a 2018 S4 in that color coming to me later this month. Love it!

Very, very nice Dan.
I know all too well about "big".
I have to psych myself up for the Ram. It's a 6 hour endeavor for a polishing, or AIO step. That's after wash/decon & clay.
Kudos, my man!
