Opti Seal question, when applying it, do you spray on the panel, or spray on the applicator? How much does it really take?

if you were to get something else instead would a reload type product or silica sealant be compatible or is opti Seal really in a class of its own?

thanks

I spray on the applicator, apply, and remove any high spots with a microfiber towel.

You could also spray on the panel and wipe in/off.

Spray directly on the panel. 2 sprays typically per panel.

I'm currently using McKee’s 10 min sealant and liking it very much, but does have bit of a chemical smell. Optiseal is water clear with no smell.

By “class” do you mean the
“WOWA category”?

If so, then, I believe Ultima Paint
Guard was the original, or at least
one of the very first, WOWA paint
protection products.

By class how about ease of use, longevity, and value?

Thanks for your definition of class.

Do you want that definition to apply
to products that belong to the WOWA
category; you know: the category that
befits Opti-Seal?

If so:
Then, once again, it is, unequivocally:
Ultima Paint Guard.

Either method will work for application. It goes a long way. You will have to adjust for the size of the panel. It could be 1 spray or maybe 2.

Don't expect it to last that long. I will say it is easy to use. It's longevity for me was about 3 months. Not the most hydrophobic LSP. Value is ok for the amount used as a little goes a long way.
