Will it stand up to Alabama heat and humidity in the summer? Or is it just going to dissipate or melt?

id be more interested in what color your vehicle is that you'd be using it on. It will probably last longer than the normal carnauba wax

It's black.

I don’t know the exact answer, but I do believe the Montan wax in it would stand up better. I’m in the process of (and will continue) testing Poxy in the Northeast summer temps on black Audi. If it does well, BlackIce, Poxy and Dodo dark waxes with Montan will become my go-tos for summer waxes on black. Will keep you posted.

Just curious, have you purchased Blackfire Black Ice and used it on any vehicles?

Think I'm going with black ice and syn spray wax. I also got a 30ml sample of purple Haze pro and red mist spray. Wanna see then both in action

This is just me but if I were you Id have Black Ice as a topper and not just a stand alone LSP if it is in fact to protect a daily driver.

•Montan Wax is one of those car-care
products’ ingredients that, over the years,
has fallen in and out of favor many a time.

-I believe it was ~12-15 years ago that Montan
Wax was the rave. Then lo and behold: it once
again (seemingly overnight; and ignominiously)
fell from grace.

-It’s hard for me to believe that it is now, in
this day and age, being hailed as a god-send.

Interesting observation Bob. In your opinion, what seems to be the reason for this "in and out of favor" of Montan wax over the years?

Interesting observation Bob.
In your opinion, what seems to be the
reason for this "in and out of favor" of
Montan wax over the years?
IMO:
It’s similar to the “in and out of favor”
reasons surrounding Sealants and
Waxes (Carnauba, et al).

•There were already Sealants, intended for
the purpose of car paint protection, looong
before Carnauba Waxes became the “cock
of the walk”. Once Carnauba Wax was so
besainted...Sealants soon fell out of grace
for the general populace.

•But then...Lo and behold:
Sealants made a “grand comeback”—Although
now seemingly laced with space-age polymers,
Nano-this or that...even some Montan Wax, on
occasion.

Whoa...Wait a minute:
Are there not Waxes, that are readily available,
that contain not only carnauba wax, but also
contain a few of the aforementioned new/old
ingredients?

What to do; what to do?
Oh yea...
Manufacturers pay their Advertisers the big
bucks to win-over any “NewKidsOnTheBlock”;
or, as a reminder to some of the “Old-timers”:
”Hey, lookie here—s’more shiny stuff...!!”

I have BF Blk Ice, but for wetness and longevity I'm going with Polish Angel Centurion these days and maintaining with Black Wulfenite.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180930/eba9cd8c0892f4eccf5d57fc3f91d62b.jpg
