Are few years old Clay bars still good? Found a couple still in the blister package in my garage. Do they become more stiff and less tacky? Would it be more prone to scratches? I've converted to using the nanoskin clay sponge for a while now and thought I can give these away if they are still good.

If they are still in the wrapper and have not been sitting in the sunlight, I would think they are still good. Can you tell if they are still pliable or hard as a rock without taking them out of the packaging?

I typically store mine in sandwich bags and spray the clay-lube in the bag then seal them up, I store them in bin away from light.
As long it's still pliable you should be ok.

They do feel a little stiff. They are actually brand new never used too.

may have dried out a bit. try something like short spritz of QD and go at it w/ a rolling pin to soften it up a bit

If you can knead them they are probably okay to use.
