I had the same thoughts when I saw the increase. I even appreciate the fancy packaging, but it was already considerably higher-priced than most other respected coatings. Since the product has only been out a few months, the pricing had to have been reviewed prior to launch. I was going to pay the premium to try it, but this kind of price adjustment made me decide on something else as well.

Please see below sir! Hopefully it sheds some light on the increase, as I would have to lose your support. Thank you!

Lose all the fancy packaging and you could keep your prices reasonable.

 While the packaging doesn't influence any purchases, gotta say Gyeon stuff just looks so cool on the shelf, love the packaging. The 4L are especially nice for me considering the form factor being more squarish and 'book-like' than a round jug, easier to pack more of that stuff on my shelf. I'll leave the question of value to others as I'm really in no position to speak to that considering some of my purchases, some of which would likely put packaging costs alone on a whole new level...but that's also part of the fun for me...I just kinda dig cool-looking stuff be it on a shelf or on paint....all things being equal with regards to effectiveness I'll usually go with 'eye-candy' in any form provided cost difference is not too extreme. Not a practical course of action but I've rarely been accused of being practical.

Like virtually anything in this arena, personal preference is a main driver at times and the only one ya gotta please is yourself.

It is cheaper and a more substantial product system than buying the Mohs 50ml and Booster combo that is awesome.

Bingo. While I've only got about 4500 miles on my Syncro'd vehicle so longevity remains to be seen, the first thing I thought when Syncro arrived was "good deal, cheaper than 50ml Mohs + 30ml Booster" and it turns out the look and feel of Syncro, to me, are superior to the Mohs + Booster combo. At $159 it (Syncro) was a killer combo for me, at $179 it still is a solid purchase, most notably at the frequent 25% off sales ($135). A rising tide raises all ships, though, so I'm still paying more ($15-$20 or so) but that's a personal choice for each individual to make. I know I've spent more than $15-$20 on REALLY stupid things, guess I'm OK paying a bit more for something that was really impressive, as Syncro has been...so far.

It's all good, though...only one ya gotta please is yourself.

Being completely transparent, we also have a global responsibility to GYEON quartz to not be the cheapest products on the Global market as that presents a whole new set of issues. We have a very "discount heavy" culture here, and I don't have a position on whether that is good or bad. But I do have a position on what we have to do as one of 71 individual country distributors of a strong global brand. GYEON goes on sale over seas RARELY and if it is, it's at 10% or 15%. We constantly buy, and wait to buy, at 25% off MSRP here in the States. So yes MSRP is up a bit but how many are actually ever buying at MSRP? The actual price that most of the purchases are made is much lower than MSRP.

This is something I have noticed too. It's very rare with all this discounts I see here on AGO and maybe is so every where in US. I live in Sweden and the Swedish reseller of Gyeon has 2-3 times a year sales and 10-15% as you said. Other times it's MSRP all year long and no discounts. There is some detailing supply companys that have discounts and sales a little more maybe around 5-10 times a year. But it's more to a brand specific or a few products. And rarely store wide sales.

One company that stand behind a forum too. And also have a in house brand like I think Black Fire is. If you are a member on the forum you get a 20% discount on that brand and some other brands. That's a great deal I think.

Man if just the shipping charges and taxes and the customs cost would be lower. I would buy alot from AGO even if it's takes long to delivered. Cause the prices of products is very low in US and that's with MSRP and the discounts. When the sales is it's extreme deals to get.

Gyeon products thou is on par with the Swedish prices. And that's not so strange as some brands has world wide prices alike.
