Removing coke from paint

Sigh...someone threw a can of coke or pepsi out of their window and sprayed my new G35 this morning.

Any suggestions for cleaning that up? I've been told that plenty of soap and water should do the job, but that I should take care of it as soon as possible to avoid damage to my paint job.

If its spuratic then a QD should do the trick. Just don't let it bake in the sun.
