Hello all
I have or had a 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-400 Cabriolet with the designDiamond White Metallic Just Did the Uber Ceramic on the Car - Should I use on the Glass too ? (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/wolfgang-car-care/117546-just-did-uber-ceramic-car-should-i-use-glass-too.html)
So the Car has been at the dealer for almost a month now due to a hydraulic line for the top that broken and yep spray all over and stinks and not able to get parts so looking to do a buy back from Mercedes and start over

So I still have a bit of the Wolfgang Uber ceramic left from Jan. just use it ?

So looking to have to do a new car all over again what would be the best to do ? should be the same car again
Body? Glass? wheels? and so on

Thank you for any input you have

David

First thing you should do is decide what you want out of a coating; things to consider:
1. Durability, longevity
2. What kind of appearance? i.e. hard, candy-like gloss or deeper, warmer wax-like glow
3. Ease of application important?
4. Climate; what might work nice in Arizona (dry) might not be so nice in New Jersey (rain/snow)
5. Do you like beading or sheeting?
6. Are self-cleaning characteristics important to you or are you gonna wash your car weekly regardless?
7. How much do you wanna spend?
8. Daily driver or hobby car?
While quartz/glass/ceramic coatings are all in the same general category with respect to LSP’s, there are subtle differences in them and you may as well go with one that is strong in your primary areas of concern.

I really liked the easy application of the WGUC. The wife’s car is coated with it and after 2 Winters it’s still holding up. M37 coating is also super easy and cheaper. I loved the look of the CQUK on my dark blue Touareg. I’ll be applying CQUK 3.0 to my new white Alltrack shortly.

There are a ton of great coatings out there now. It’s really kinda hard to go wrong if you chose one of the popular ones.
