What y’all think of flex da polisher xfe 15 or flex 3401 I’m looking into buying 2 new da polishers I keep hearing of the flex 3401 heating up. Definitely don’t want to be dealing with that. Looking for something for heavy correction and a daily user as well. It’s time for some new one and I’d like buy them this week.

I have the Flex 3401 and use it in the South Florida summer heat. Yes it does get hot but it does still work properly. In the summer heat I will take more breaks to cool down and that is a good chance for the polisher to cool down also.

For heavy correction the last machine you reach for is an XFE 15, it’s enormously underpowered. Yes the 3401 runs hot, look into the Rupes line if you want correction power, smooth, cool running.
