No... I like the look but I would want to change the frame and running gear and at some point you just appreciate the other guy’s ride and let her go...
We actually wetsanded a 2-Wheel version of the truck here at Autogeek a few years ago.
I do like this 1946 Dodge and the owner has promised to give me first right of refusal when he decides to sell it.

Sitting on a modern Chevy Blazer frame and running gear. It had air conditioning and currently a small block Chevy but the owner said it had a Big Block in it previously - so I know a BBC fits and if I get it a BBC is going back in it.
Plus more lift, 3/4 ton axles, 44” Boogers and different wheels.

I just showed this to the Wife.
Immediately she screamed out: Yes!
Then, without skipping a beat, she
looked straight at me and said:
‘You know how much I like “old stuff”’.
Love knows no bounds.

Another, "no" vote here.
I really like the looks of those old trucks, but not when lifted with the oversized wheel/tire package. Those modern wheels really clash with age/design of the vehicle. Overall, I don't mind a subtle resto-mod, but when going back to something of that age, I prefer stock/nearly stock retoration.
