My mother in law is one of those types of people you see driving and say "that old lady shouldn't be driving!"

She's constantly hitting things or cars, well.... a lot more than the average driver.
Her 2015 toyota rav4 had some scratch lines on its side and when I looked closer it was paint that rubbed off whatever was dragged against her car's side.

I was able to get the very noticeable lines off with claybar and some lube. I'll polish out those marks on the paint but it has a couple pea sized spots missing paint.
She has the touch up paint but how do you properly repair this type of damage?
Apply touch up paint, sand down with something very fine and then use my new flex 3401.....
Sounds good right?
Any suggestions on what grit sand paper/discs and what else I need to do a GOOD job and NOT pebble beach show car perfect?

Right now I have a flex 3401 with the standard backing plate and a pc7424xp with a 3" backing plate and the standard backing plate as well.
Thanks guys

I hope it's okay to post that link... if it works... it's a neat video where Larry touches up some paint... the little tool he uses for the yellow'ish porsche is really cool...
