The wood trim on the lid of my console box has some light scratches in it. They do not appear to be through the clear coating. Has anyone wet sanded & polished this stuff? I don't think just compounding & polishing will remove them.

What do you plan on using for a machine? I have had good luck with the Ibrid from Rupes. I used the white pad white polish combo on a Mercedes with wood trim scratches. Can you post some pics?

I have the Ibrid and was planning on putting it to work on this project. I tried by hand & megs ultimate compound on a small test spot. Did nothing at all. That's what made me think wet sanding my be needed.
