Your forum account is approved

For anyone that joined our forum over the last few days and has been patiently waiting for their account to be approved, I just went through all pending accounts and approved "real people". :laughing:

Spammers? You'll simply have to find another forum to spam...

Just to add....

I've been working on forums since 2002, not as long as some but probably longer than most.

I have NEVER in my life seen so many spammers trying to join our forum.

And for the life of me... I've never understood "why" they would want to join and post spam... no one in their right mind would actually purchase or interact with anting a spammer posts.

I agree with you Mike, I don't understand it either. Sadly many folks do fall for it, you don't have to worry about getting mugged anymore, you have to worry about your identity.

Well Mr. Mike I could never understand why my wife says she wants half of my income while also saying she don't need/want anything from me in the same breath lol so all i can say they're somethings in life that isn't meant for us to understand.:laughing::cheers::spam4:

Some might be related to online advertisers' staff trying to gain access to some content here that they can't otherwise get. These people are working on behalf of AGO in this case. Internet marketing is very sophisticated these days. Ever notice how you might search for light bulbs and then suddenly your "web experience" is "enhanced" with relevant pop ups for light bulbs shortly thereafter?

There is something called "Run of network" (search it in Wikipedia). I have spent time in these forums posting questions or comments and then almost like magic I get pop up ads for McKee's, Wolfgang or AGO which happen to be brands I read and comment about. It is not a coincidence. These AGO ads are part of a campaign which coordinates with your browser vendor (Chrome, Firefox, IE/Edge, Safari, Opera, etc.).

I know a guy who works in this field. They are continuously tweaking their algorithms and sometimes they join forums to better understand peoples' behaviors. The better your relevance the better your results and your business improves.

When I got married the financial terms were simple. What is mine is ours and what is hers is hers. Happy wife, happy life.

Yes, standard for husbands who are willing to give up financial control, which I am. I hated paying bills and managing the household finances when I was single. I was terrible at it. Now, I just have to work during the week and enjoy Saturday mornings detailing the vehicles.

Yes but here’s the thing I detail full time and my wife is a teacher. I’m not going to lie I’m horrible with money management and she is very good at it. She writes out monthly budgets and post bills on the refrigerator so we won’t forget. Myself on the other handle only remember car notes and line of credit payment dates other than that she is my reminder. On the other hand she does have what I call ball out moments. Keep in mind she’s a teacher and I’m a detailer. I make her yearly salary sometimes in less then a month or two but she will go out and buy cars and I’m looking at her like really....that’s when we get into financial arguments like the other night she wants to buy a Tesla and I was like you better stick a Tesla photo on the dashboard of your Prius and keep moving. I understand happy wife happy life but my god she can be a unhappy wife every now and then lol I’ll live. Our dinner dates even stress me out lolhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180302/e8f5749734d275c77f36a42964b8d069.jpg

Wow, 5.00 for iced tea and 5.00 for Coke. That is harsh. I can deal with getting gouged for food if it is good food but 5.00 for a Coke is excessive. I always drink water. A true test is what you order when someone else is paying. At company events, weddings, etc. I also drink water, even when someone else is paying. I feel it would be hypocritical if I changed my behavior because YOU are paying. That is a character trait.

What strikes me as funny (unbeknownst to these spammer scumbags), is this is probably the LAST forum you'd want to spam on.

A whole community of guys & gals with an almost (OK, full-on) OCD-like attention to detail.

Dumb asses. :laughing::laughing::laughing:
