Do you worry about hitting your paint with your power washer wand? Try this trick:

No, the only time I've ever worried about a pressure washer hitting the car is with the coin op and that was more the hose. I don't put the wand any closer then about a foot just to be safe. I use a 2000 psi at the house. You shouldn't really put the wand right up close to the paint

Ive never actually hit anything with the wand, but I worry about it. This is peace of mind for me.

I try to always keep the wand 2ft or more from the paint - except when cleaning wheel-wells. Don't see huge likelihood of wand hitting the paint, but for $.99 why not eliminate the possibility? Just sayin...
