I need a few brushes I can use on wheels but also on the engine bay. I see several options when on Autogeek.

A couple I'm considering are the Wheel Woolies or Speed Master brushes.

I would like any opinion s on these as well as any others. It seems like opinions are split when I searched.

Thanks,

Rick

I have the three size wheel woolies and auto parts cleaning brush for the wheels. I am going to do my engine and bay with these brushes. The wheel woolies have a long handle for getting way down. I also use a toothbrush for tight spots.

I only use two brushes. Blue ezdetail brush mini and a flag tipped brush. Meguiars wheel brightened on every single wheel no matter what, except bare aluminum wheels, and it makes cleaning a breeze, barely have to touch the wheel.

I use the large Speedmaster brush for engine bays, the large Wheel Woolie for the barrels of my wheels, and a wash mitt for the wheel faces. I'd like to get a boar's hair brush for the wheel faces at some point though.

I use the wheel woolies 3 brushes for wheels but I would not use them in the engine bay... they are not ideal for that.

In the engine bay I suggest you use a boar hair wheel brush (the short one) and a speed master brush (EZ-detail one are identical). Also, have a lug nut brush or 1 inch paintbrush for detail work. Not a bad idea to have a toothbrush handy for cases where dirt is stuck in lettering on the liquid caps. Usually the paintbrush will remove it, but I have had 1 or 2 instances where it needed more and the toothbrush did quick work of it.

I appreciate all the responses. I've ordered some brushes and will give them a go.
