I was looking at that and wondering the same thing. The Amethyst coating specifically mentions high durability while being easy to apply, while the more expensive Igneous coating mentions neither in the product copy.

I have not compared the two. Primarily because I'm not likely going to be moving to use the britemax coatings and am sticking with the CarPro Line up.

I don't know about using it on glass but Essence Plus is a non-abrasive jeweling polish. So no correction of it whatsoever. It could almost be used as a sealant.

Essence IMO is more of a light polish with properties of a glaze. It has fine cutting ability and can be finiky about working speeds. I use it with a white polishing pad on my Flex 3401 at speed 5/6 if not a tick slower. It also works best with the Hybrid Force Pads as I've used others and thus must build up more heat as it begins to flash too soon. Not sure if I'd use it to deep clean paint. I'd suggest Megs D166 or HDSpeed for something like that.

As I mentioned Essence Plus is a non-abrasive polish. Meaning no correction ability. It contains SiO2 protection and fills defects as it was intended to repair a coating that has been marred. So to answer your question, no it will not deep clean your paint.

Essence is a primer polish for coatings that contains abrasives. It will correct and fill. It will leave a layer of SiO2 but it won't be as hydrophobic as Essence Plus. Which is why folks top it with something like Reload if not going with a coating.
