Hello I am new to detailing, bought audi a8 it was treated not really well, using rotary removed most of defects, some deeper left. But I have these spots on the hood, what to do? Use abbrasive or sand it? What is it? I've tried menzerna heavy cut 400 didnt helped or maybe needed wool.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180101/4be0f6e4c4fa4638cb4340333e7d7d41.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180101/f360e1ae9f201228bad32842141ce91a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180101/d98176a63be7ad54d103139a371a0442.jpg

That looks like bird poo etching. I think the only way is to wetsand those out... which is not ideal for a factory paint job.

Welcome to Autogeek! They do look like bird dropping etching. Have you wet sanded before?? You should be able to clean them up some without removing too much clear. What year is the car?? Is the paint on the harder side??

I thought the paint was probably pretty hard. Wet sanding can be pretty risky. Do you have a paint thickness guage? A wool pad on the rotary should clean them up some.
