I am having some trouble with my wheel wash bucket. I have probably 6 brushes in there and it's just a mess getting one out or finding another. I use every one of them often and need to keep my setup compact (so just can't throw them in a different bucket.) I haven't even bought wheel woolies yet! I have looked at some bucket boss style solutions but I'm afraid water would slowly destroy them. Anyone have any solutions with pics?

put some screws in somewhere and hang the brushes thats what i did. It helps them dry better too.

Maybe a turkey fryer strainer with some hooks inside.... that way maybe I can lift out and grab what I need and dunk back down

I think you are asking about storing brushes for mobile detailing? If you are I guess that would be totally different and I would ask what kind of vehicle you working with?

lol arent we all... I dont know about mobile detailing but I'm thinking you really shouldn't need 6 different brushes. Can you get by with 2 for the day 3 tops?

Are you looking for a bucket organizer that goes inside the bucket? To make finding a certain brush in the rinse water easier?

I if I was going to do that you could thread some type of hooks right through the the bucket that would be good.

There are so many aftermarket wheels on trucks here with so many different finishes. I really need to be able to grab and go and have what I need.

Here’s what I did.
You can buy the stick on hooks @the dollar store.

These are the hooks I used.

Did they hold up? Ehh in my case not for a long time... But that was also due to neglect, and I think that if I would’ve taken better care of how I stored the bucket it might’ve held up properly. I think simply putting a lid over it would’ve made a big difference because I leave all my buckets outside and the condensation/constant temperature change likely contributed to the hooks giving out sooner than expected.

Next time I’ll make sure to have a lid for that bucket. [ideal if you can store it inside the garage where it’s not getting damp every night] A drop of Crazy Glue in the middle of each square might make a difference too, but I haven’t tried that.
