Does anyone know what the thread size and pattern is on the Rupes rotary? I am trying to find out for extended arm and various sized backing plates. I really don’t see Rupes releasing these items for the rotary. So I figured I would go ahead and pick them up elsewhere.

The rotary was 14mm shaft size. That may have been a non USA model. Try calling them in Colorado.

Thanks for the reply. I would think it would be the same. I’ll see what they say though.

North American polishers are usually 5/8", European standard is M14 (14mm), The PE14-2 is 5/8" shaft (I own one, and can say that with certainty). When John from Forensics Detailing on Youtube reviewed it, it was an M14 shaft size,

That is correct we have a Flex PE-14 and the 14mm extensions don't fit.

The EURO version will have a M14 thread.

The USA/NA version will have a 5/8th thread.

The M14 euro backing plates will have a different color threaded insert. I think euro is blue and USA is red, but I'm not 100% on that.

Thanks for the response Todd. Kyle messaged me this morning letting me know everything I need. I look forward to trying it out.

My LH19E M14 is the blue thread so American 5/8” should be red thread.

Do you have any idea when the Skorpio E is expected to come out Todd?
