Can a SiO2 paint coating be applied to a bumper that has been powder coated?

I'm about to apply McKee's 37 paint coating to my Xterra and also want to apply it to my bumper.

Any input appreciated as I figure some on here have tried it.

Thanks,

Rick

Yes you can and it should last just as long as it does on paint.

•Sure...you can try it.

•Nonetheless:
-How well a ‘Coating’ adheres to powder-coating
depends on the type of powder that was used;
and, the amount of gloss the powder-coating has.

[It’d be a shame to have to scuff/rough-up
such an otherwise durable finish, in order
to make sure a ‘Coating’ sticks to it, IMO.]

On that note, sealant for the win 😁
