Good afternoon I have been able to get some great information from this great forum. I am only doing detailing part time right now. I hope in the future to be able to do it full time. I am working every off day for a friend at his shop. He is the manager of a shop that deals in classic cars and a few modern cars. I get to work with various types of paints and it allows me to learn a ton. I am currently working on a 55 Chevrolet. So that's me and a small part of what I do. Also a husband and a father of 2 and 1 that will be here about June. 613416134261343

You're not too far from Barbers in leeds, are you? I'm in Enterprise, about 30 miles west of Dothan. I wonder how many of us Alabiamians are on Autogeek Forum?

Awesome!

I'm also hooked up with a classic muscle shop in Maryland---those shops are a great place to get started in the business!

Welcome to AGO.

Thanks. Here is a car I worked on a few weeks back. Got a build sheet around 207,000. It is a consignment and the boss wanted it to shine. Pretty scratched up from being washed and drove. 613556135661357

That would be good to know how many of us are on here. Maybe get all of us together at a central location one day. Barbers is about a 30 to 45 minute drive.

Never lived anywhere other than Alabama. Sorry can't refer to the state as that ugly word you used. It is a very bad word in our house because it is what that other team in west Alabama that we can't stand use. We are Orange and Blue people.
