2017 Audi RS7 in Mythos Black Metallic. Gloss crazy!!!

This particular Audi belonged to the same gentleman who I just recently did the 2008 Porsche 997 for. Upon dropping off the RS7 for a little work over he informed that he was able to sell is 997 very easily due to how well it looked and ordered himself a 2017 Porsche GTS in the same blue metallic! That will be coming in a couple weeks as his is Audi Q5.

Onto the RS7. Fortunately this car only having 12k miles was in nice shape and only needed a good one step to correct the minor issues. But boy once corrected this paint is something out of this world! The flip and flop of the metallic from black to burgundy to greenish pearl is nuts!

Wash/decon

Hyperwash, 2BM, Mothers speed clay

Wheels/Tires

Sonax wheel cleaner plus, LATA, Hyper dressing

Engine bay

Light cleaning with Mckees N914 and dressed with Hyper dressing

Correction

Boss G21, Boss microfiber cutting pad, Menzerna PF2500. Adams swirl killer mini with 3in boss microfiber pads were also used

LSP

IGL Poly/ Premier top coat

Interior

Interior was fully steamed. Leather coated with Mckees leather coating. Carpets cleaned with Mckees carpet and upholstery shampoo.

Totally agree! It's kind of a tough choice though between the CLS 63s AMG I just did and this RS7. Both very well designed rides.

Yeah I think you are right. TBH I didn't even realize they offered two different metallic blacks.

I'm biased ;) Both can be tuned but with a simple stage 1 flash the RS7 becomes a super beast with AWD and All Season fun pulling down mid 10's at nearly 130mph.

Beautiful work on some really nice paint.

Wow, this RS7, new 911 GTS and upcoming Q5, client has great taste and a lot of money, the 2 aren't mutually exclusive either. That said, your work on the RS7 is jaw dropping but I can't say the same for the wheel choice there. I know there's something for everyone but a nice matte anthracite HRE or Vossen wheel would compliment that car much better IMO, just can't deal with that underlying silver ring under the spokes.

Yup ths is his daily driver. But he is what we call a snow bird. Meaning he goes to Florida for part of the winter months. He mentioned he will probably be taking the RS7 with him.

Looks awesome! I looked through the pics yesterday, and was thinking that it would be cool to get a nice German beast like that through here to work on. Phone rang an hour ago, and I booked an RS6 V8 bi-turbo for full paint correction and ceramic coating for Friday! It’s even metallic black ��.
