Megs D300 with foam pad

Has anyone tried this combo?
Its my understanding that the D300 and D301 were "designed for MF pads "
I happen to acquire these two products but have been hesitant to give them a go. I dont see what it would hurt but just throwing the ? out there to see if anyone has tried them with foam

Garry Dean has a video where he's testing a Rupes Duetto against his HF polisher.

He used orange buff and shine pads and D300. Looked pretty good too.

D300 actually sort of reminds me of Ultimate Compound, which also works very well with microfiber.
