I've searched all over the net and found that autopia.com is the only credible place that mentions this polish...has anyone here used it before? System One. Please share some experiences with it.

I've used it and have to say this is one of the best polishes I've used in a LONG time. The high points to me is definitely that I can use the one product for cutting and polishing but also I love that it is a water based polish. That means that if you get it on trim or let it dry... clean-up is VERY easy.

Also what is one of the strongest points is the fact that is not a diminishing abrasive like most. It's more like Menzerna 106ff in that it used nano particles to cut fast but at the same time give it the ability to finish down LSP ready.

Have you seen Toto's details that he posted up in Show & Shine that he used SYSTEM ONE? He swears by it now. I think I'm close to that point as well. I haven't found a need for much of anything else since I started using it.

I mentioned it here on AutoGeek as I've done several cars with the product. (Do a search on BMW's and you'll find a lot of process pictures).

I just returned from the Mobile Tech Expo and they were doing a lot of demonstrations on "real world" vehicles sitting outside (a black Nissan and an RV motorhome). Simply put, this product works as advertised. I've eliminated the use of the 3M gritty compounds and saved a bunch of time in the shop by having one product to do compounding AND polishing.

Hope that helps!

I actually bought the System 1 before Christmas. A gift to myself. This is a very good product. I also like the spray wax. I saw where someone was comparing this to Meg's Solo. I do not have that product,
but the System 1 does what it says it will do!

Nope, no filler material. Tom did a soapy wash wipe down and you can use an IPA wipe down with the same results. What you see is what you've corrected. If you missed some scratches in the wool compounding process, it's easy to go back and correct them.

They can not be compared. Meguiar's Solo is for the fresh paint only. Meguiar's is very firm not to use it on cured paint.

Search "system one" in Google. It's the first one that pops up.

I have some samples coming. Toto's reviews sold me on it. The videos are nice too.........they are on their website.

I want to eliminate my bazzillion bottles and just have one compound/polish.

Here's some demonstration shots taken at the Mobile Tech Expo in Tampa.

I tried to get a decent sampling of scratch removal on a really bad Nissan Armada (how someone could even treat a vehicle like that is beyond my comprehension).

Scratch on rear quarter:

Wet sanded with 2000 grit paper

compounded and polished. Note: Tom did not do the entire panel...just a small area for the demo

The hood had a pretty deep scratch (you could definitely feel the edge with your fingernail)

Tom then sanded the flats (avoiding directly sanding the ridge line)

Check out the use of duct tape on the headlight assembly. The rear bumper was also taped to hold it on. And, finally, the interior was super smelly and super dirty...just unreal for a vehicle of that age.

I tried to use the video that my camera is capable of and it didn't show up well.
