I'm going to take delivery of a brand new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit next week.

What products, both interior and exterior, do you recommend to keep it looking new and protecting it from Northern Indiana winters?

best regards,
Freehand

Hi Freehand,

Sorry for the delay.... looks like you posted this at 8:00pm last Friday night and after being on the road for the last 3 weeks and a very busy schedule for the last 5 weeks, I was ready to be offline.

The key thing to protecting the exterior and interior of your brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit is some sage advice give to me years and years ago by my friend Jack Anderson a rep for PPG

"Find something you like and use it often" (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/24310-find-something-you-like-use-often.html)

And what the above means is simply find something you like and will use.... don't buy something that will gather dust on a shelf in the garage.

As for what to use? I'd recommend applying a coating. I'd say keep it simple. The easiest and most affordable coating for a newbie would be one of these choices,

McKee's 37 Paint Coating

GYEON Q21 Enthusiast

Both of these are great entry level coatings that are super easy to use and give great performance while not breaking the bank to get into.

Here's a video that Yancy shot for GYEON at SEMA where Jeff McEachran and myself where we talk about the product and how easy it is to use.

Besides that, a good yet simple sealant to use would be the SONAX Polymer Net Shield.

As for the interior, my guess is your Jeep has the leather option, if so check this out,
