Hey guys,

Was doing a maintenance wash today (rinseless) and while doing the drying step my drying towel was getting caught on the paint, almost as if it was "sticking" or "grabbing". Was using ONR and Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer as a "drying aid". They were brand new microfiber towels. Has anybody else experienced this? Does this mean it probably needs a clay bar treatment and new sealant? Thanks in advance.

Possibly. Sometimes my microfibers stick when I dry during a rinseless. I usually spray the towel w my drying aid as well as the panel. Once the towel gets a little wet it starts to work better. I use a second plush towel to buff the residue away anyway. As the sealant wears off and contaminants bond to your paint the paint also isn't as smooth as it can be which can also cause this issue.

If the drying towel is to plush it will grab for me.

Probably needs to be clayed (not a word? ) After RW a panel dry it then baggie test it to be sure.
