Applied Essence using Buff and Shine Uro-Fibre Pads (7424XP) / Coated with Mckees37 Sio2 (New Version):

Car is nice and shiny with just a few RIDS left (it's a DD outside 24/7 - so wasn't looking for perfect...) - there is some depth - but if I had to guess it's 60% corrected - As you can see the side reflects well - and you can read the "Craftsman" from the side - but on the trunk the fluorescent light is sightly fuzzy vs rear window.

All good for what I was aiming for = Winter Protection - just really wondering the level I achieved.

Also haven't seen the car outside yet - it's been sitting in the garage curing since I finished last night - and it's raining today....

What's the thought from the Geeks here?

Not enough light to tell from the picture for me.

Thanks guys - yeah I tried to capture a good picture - those were the two best I could come up with - Pictures seem to be hard to get right, I have to work on that aspect more....

Still sitting in that same spot as Nate has now hit "CT"....

The best way for me to estimate correction is to tape off a test panel and evaluate the difference after correction with good, discerning light. I can't tell from the pic either but it does look great!

Good luck with Nate and stay safe. We were fortunate here in Tampa in that it stayed well west of us.

Thanks - yeah Nate isn't really a big deal here in CT -certainly nothing like when they hit FL or the Gulf Coast - it's all just heavy rain - and 35 MPH wind gusts (long duration thunder storm) - but did force me to keep the car inside for coating cure time (My poor Z28 summer driver is stuck out the rain:awman:) (1st world problems - right?)....

I'm also not very good with picture documentation - and I wasn't actually making any large scale attempt at correction here - generally just trying to make the car look "Good" and of course apply a good layer of protection for the winter/snow months - I'm certainly confident I achieved the "Good" part of looks though - so happy about that!!:buffing:
