Hi everyone! Doing my normal fall detailing on the vehicles and I think I'd like to try something other than Klasse. I love the looks/durability of Klasse (I still get beading after 9 months or more!) but it's just so hard to logistically handle having a vehicle be out of service for a day or more to get the requisite 8hr cure times between coats and to get 2-3 coats on. One idea I have is using a Duragloss 111/601 combo or 105/601. If I did the 111/601, I'd probably do Meg's Ultimate polish before.

What else is out there that would match the durability of it and would less time consuming to use? Thanks!

Guaranteed FK1000p will be recommended. And I would highly recommend it as well. Easy to use, great durability and probably the best value in the sealant/wax market.

The new megs ultimate fast finish is as easy as putting on detail spray. It claims up to a year of protection but frankly it’s so easy it’s ridiculous. Plus I top it with D156 every other week. It’s extremely hydrophobic.

After I apply Klasse AIO as the “base”...
I only have to apply one coat of Klasse
High Gloss Sealant Glaze to achieve the
desired results—including protection.

(This is one of the reasons they’re often
referred to as: “The Klasse Twins”.)

•And, IMO:
-With no wait time needed between
the K-AIO/K-HGSG applications: it’s
not such a protracted LSP-process.
-No need to change to another Sealant

But requires a 12 hour cure time.

I don’t think 12 hours is too bad. I usually do it towards the end of the day and the car sits overnight and it’s ready to go in the morning.

Does the Ultimate Fast Finish stuff last decently enough during the winter? I'd be ok with having to do a touch up once during the winter given how easy it is to reapply.

+1 for Wolfgang also. It seems from the OP that he was worried about having to apply multiple coats to achieve the desired beading effect for the 9 month period. My sealant, granted I also topped it with a layer of Collinite 845, lasted 10-12 mo. 1 coat of each and still had sufficient beading.

Wolfgang. The stuff is awesome. The cure time is for contact with water. If you finish in the evening and leave the car in the garage, you're good. I've been really impressed with it. Many washes and it still feels freshly sealed.

Use a light polish to clean the paint, then Sonax Polymer Net Shield. This is as durable as any non coating out there and you only need one layer. Once a month after a wash, use some Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer and you can go as long as your Klasse Twins last you without breaking a sweat. My 2nd choice would be DG 105/601 combo.
